Jones and Shipman 540P Surface Grinding Machine, Power Rise and Fall, Fitted With Eclipse 6 x 18" Magnetic Chuck, Max Spindle Speed 3000RPM, Coolant Tank, Emergency  Stop. Remanufactured by Andmar - Ref No A1393, the
machine was fully remanufactured on 13th September 1999, this involved
stripping the machine to the base casting, reground, realigned, new electrics,
paint – the cost today is approx. £25K for these works to be done.
