The Komet Komtronic Head is a high-precision NC-controlled tool head designed to deliver exceptional performance in demanding machining operations. Featuring a direct path measurement system on the slide, it ensures accurate positioning and reliable feedback throughout the machining process. With a stroke of 50 mm (±25 mm) and a maximum feed rate of 350 mm/min, this head offers both flexibility and speed. It can operate at spindle speeds of up to 4,000 RPM, depending on the slide position, making it suitable for a wide range of applications. The integrated through-coolant supply system, rated at 40 bar, enhances tool life and cutting performance by maintaining optimal cooling during operation. Engineered as a high-performance NC axis for interpolation, the Komtronic Head enables precise contouring and fine adjustment directly within the machining cycle.
